The Meridian Scalp Ritual
A few quiet minutes with your Sandalwood Scalp Gua Sha, working the scalp the way it was meant to be cared for.
Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp
Each follicle relies on the scalp’s circulation and nutrient flow. Inspired by meridian scalp massage, this ritual is designed to encourage microcirculation, support follicle health, and release the tension that gathers at the temples, crown, and nape.
Four points, one flow
Move slowly through each in turn. Use light to medium pressure.
01
Hairline
Meridian · Shenting GV24
Glide upward from the hairline toward the crown with gentle, even pressure.
02
Crown
Meridian · Baihui GV20
Pause at the crown. Apply light circular pressure for 10 to 15 seconds.
03
Temples
Meridian · Shuaigu GB8
Sweep along both temples with the curved edge in small, firm strokes.
04
Nape
Meridian · Fengchi GB20
Press and hold at the base of the skull to release tension.
Trichologist Tip
Use light to medium pressure, enough to gently move the scalp tissue, not scratch the surface. The goal is circulation and release, never friction.
Care
Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth after use. Do not submerge in water. Store in the included dust bag in a dry place away from direct sunlight to help preserve the wood and its natural fragrance.
Caution
Avoid use on broken, irritated, inflamed, or sunburned skin. Discontinue use if discomfort occurs.
