Supporting America's Food Security
42 million Americans just lost their SNAP benefits overnight, and food banks across our country are now facing overwhelming demand.
As a small business, we believe in showing up for our community. For the entire month of November, we're donating 20% of every purchase to Feeding America.
We know one campaign won’t solve food insecurity, but it’s a start. If you need haircare, shop with us. If you can give, volunteer, or advocate directly, please do. However you choose to show up, we’re grateful you’re part of it.
Questions about the Campaign
Feeding America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization, supporting a network of over 200 food banks and thousands of local pantries across the U.S. They rescue surplus food, distribute meals to families in need, and advocate for lasting solutions to end hunger.
All proceeds are donated directly to Feeding America.
We donate 20% of your pre-tax subtotal (before taxes).
Absolutely and we encourage it. You can donate directly at feedingamerica.org.
We will be providing an update via email and social media in early December with the total donated, along with a receipt and confirmation from our donor partners.
The campaign runs through the entire month of November. Every order placed during this time contributes to our collective donationm
Not at the moment. If you would like to increase your donation, we recommend you donate directly to your local food bank or national organizations like Feeding America.

You are not alone in this struggle. 42 million Americans face food insecurity, that's 1 in 8 people in the United States. These resources exist for you, and there is no shame in asking for help. Food is a basic human right, and hard times can happen to anyone. Using these resources is smart, not weak.
You have rights when accessing food assistance. You deserve dignified, respectful treatment, privacy and confidentiality, and access regardless of your immigration status. If you experience mistreatment, you can file complaints by calling 1-866-632-9992 (USDA Civil Rights).
Start small if you're feeling overwhelmed. Make one call to 211, visit one website like feedingamerica.org, or try one resource like a community fridge or soup kitchen. It gets easier after that first step. Remember that staff at food programs are there to help, and many volunteers have been in your shoes before.
You're allowed to combine resources, in fact, it's encouraged! Use SNAP along with food banks, school meals, and community fridges. Build a support network that works for you. If one place has a waitlist, keep trying and reach out to another. Resources exist, and help is available right now. Don't give up.
