Our debut collection, 9·1 Professional, combines traditional artisanal craftsmanship with the precision of cutting-edge science. Like fine wine, our process is both an art and a science, using only the finest ingredients to achieve incredible quality.
We are made-to-order and only produce in small batches to maintain rigorous quality control, ensuring potency and performance. This approach allows us to deliver our products exactly as intended, avoiding the quality compromises that can arise from large-scale production, such as reduced oversight and prolonged storage at destabilizing temperatures.
We strike a delicate balance between natural and active ingredients—most "natural" products fall short, while many "professional" products are too harsh. At AWARE, we ensure each ingredient is precisely calibrated for optimal performance, pH balance, and effectiveness.

Rooted in our coastal Los Angeles heritage, we draw inspiration from the rich biodiversity and profound beauty of the Pacific's treasures. Central to AWARE is our patent-pending AWAREBIO Complex™, a proprietary blend that includes potent bioactive ingredients renowned for their nourishing and strengthening properties for both scalp and hair.
Our team spent over 5 years connecting the four corners of the Mare Pacificum (Latin for Pacific Ocean meaning “Peaceful Sea”) to calibrate this holistic blend. Combining these with the latest advancements in Clean Hair Science, we have developed our uncompromisingly effective professional formulations that are rooted in nature.

This is why we have intentionally curated our AWARE 9·1 Professional collection to focus only on these essentials, starting with a shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in styling conditioner. Each bottle offers the 9 most important hair and scalp care functions, in order to provide a comprehensive regimen with a minimal number of products. The collection has been tested for efficacy on all hair types and textures in a diverse professional salon environment for over 2 years to validate the versatility of each product.

All products are crafted locally at our certified lab in California and undergo rigorous third-party testing. This hands-on approach allows us to select the purest ingredients, ensuring each component contributes to the integrity and performance of our formulations.
